Quick Summary: Wow,
this is not a good movie. Yes, there are some redeeming qualities:
If you own a 3D Blu-ray player, the 3D edition of the film is
visually stunning. And...well, that's about it. Seth Rogen stars as
(and wrote the script for) the Green Hornet, a Batman-like superguy
with no special powers but lots of money. Jay Chou is his
martial-arts/mechanical genius sidekick. Together they, well, they
make a lot of crotch jokes, sexually harass female office workers,
fight and call each other names, whine like babies, drink and
experiment with drugs, and display torrid acting only made
worse by the inane plot (how about driving half a car into an
elevator and up a building?). In short, as much as I wanted to like
this film, it's really only going to be fun for really immature boys
who just like crotch jokes and things that blow up. Disappointing
considering the richness of Rogen's source material.
