This is a fine collection of the classic Sinatra sound and some classic Sinatra songs.

This is definitely an album to listen to when you’re tired or when you are stressed. This is just one of those CD’s that is quite soothing. One of the good songs on this album is “Prisoner of Love,” the opening song. This is a great song to start on because it is a little bit up beat and makes the listener want to continue on the journey through the album. Another good song is “It Had to be You.” This song is soft and low and very calming and smooth.

There are two main downsides of this CD. Firstly, “damn” is one of the lyrics on the second track “Under My Skin.” Secondly, there are too many ooshy gooshy lyrics all packed in to this one album. Sure this is an album about love and it makes sense, but hearing love songs one after another gets boring for prolonged periods of time.

Overall, this is a good album and surely worth a listen, especially if you’re already a Sinatra fan.
