Writer Submission Guidelines

Interested in Writing for Nappaland.com?

If so, then there are a few things you should know:

  • Nappaland.com is a not-for-profit magazine, fully funded by an ongoing grant from Nappaland Communications Inc., and  staffed entirely by volunteers.

  • Because this is a not-for-profit publication, Nappaland.com does not pay for material published on the site.

  • In spite of the fact that all our writers donate their work, our editors continue to demand the highest quality of writing for all articles and reviews in our magazine. (Sorry, no slacking allowed just because you won't get paid!) Also, while Nappaland.com covers a wide variety of topics and products, it is always written from a Christian worldview and with the intent to honor God within the pages of the magazine.

If above information hasn't scared you away yet, and you still think you've got something worthwhile to contribute to the Nappaland.com publication, then we'll be happy to consider your submission. Please note:

  • All submissions MUST be queried first. We will automatically delete any full manuscripts that were not queried. And, of course, NEVER send us an article as a file attachment as we will never download a file from someone we don't know.

  • To send a query, use our Contact Us page. Tell us about yourself and to give a brief summary of your article and/or product review interest. Be sure to include your email address so we can contact you if we like your query.

  • If we are interested in seeing more, we will contact you via email. If we opt not to publish your article or review, then you just won't hear from us. If you haven't received an email response to your query within 30 days, it means we've decided not to publish your submission (sorry!). PLEASE DO NOT SEND MULTIPLE QUERIES OR REQUESTS FOR UPDATES FOR THE SAME ARTICLE / REVIEW. If we want to publish, you'll hear from us within 30 days. If not, you won't hear from us. Sounds mean, we know, but the volume of submissions we receive require us to budget our time wisely, and sending out gobs of rejection letters just isn't the way we want to spend our days.

Still interested in working with those crabby, demanding, cheap folks at Nappaland.com? J

If so, then you've got guts.

If you've got the talent to match, then we can't wait to hear from you. Our Contact Us page awaits you.

Blessings!

The Editors
