VeggieTales Gang / Big Idea Records and EMI Music
Fan Appeal: Children of all ages Genre: Kids VeggieTales Greatest Hits is a genius collection of the best of the best of all of the fun Veggie Tales songs that we’ve come to love over the years. This CD has all of the most fun songs, like “The Hairbrush Song,” “The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything,” and “Song of the Cebu.” Another cool thing about this CD is that it has the videos of “The Yodeling Veterinarian of the Alps,” and “The Dance of the Cucumber.” These are two of the most fun-to-watch Veggies videos. What’s great is that the Veggie songs still have the ability to make me laugh even after years of hearing them over and over. There are also the songs with great spiritual lessons like “Stand!” which tells us to stand up for what we believe in and God will stand with us. The lyric booklet also has a short history of each of the songs on this album. My only disappointment with this CD is that it had to end. There are so many other fun VeggieTales songs that could have been on here like the “Lip Song.” Big Idea needs to make a second album to get the rest of the great songs out for us! Overall, VeggieTales Greatest Hits is a fun CD is a must-have for anyone with little kids—or teens who still love their Veggies. MUSICBLOG RATING: A If members of your family like this CD, they you may want to try… -Veggie Tunes and Veggie Tunes 2, Veggie Tales Gang, Children’s Music. These fun collections of Veggie Tales songs are ones to be sure to add to your collection. --TN ### |
