### Greg Sanders / Octane Music
Fan Appeal: All Ages Genre: Worship Amazing is a beautiful new worship album that is sure to capture the listener. This is one of the most well put-together worship albums that I have heard in a long time. There’s balance, creativity, and good musicianship. One of the best songs is “You Are Good.” This song is simply about how good God is, as demonstrated through his faithfulness, kindness, and mercy. There’s also a really cool guitar solo that makes this song shine. Another standout track is the remake of the old hymn “My Jesus I Love Thee,” with new lyrics added in to create a fresh sound. This song is a slower one that provokes the listener to sit and ponder what is truly being sung. This song is followed by a short musical interlude, “…responding,” that follows the same sort of sound, but with a little bit of Radiohead influence thrown in that makes it more interesting. My main disappointment on this album was the fact that it ended. There were a couple parts that I didn’t love as much as others, like the intro guitar line on “No One Like Our God,” which seemed a little bit cheesy. Mostly though, there isn’t much bad to say about this CD. Overall, I highly recommend this album. It is a good worship CD for the whole family. MUSICBLOG RATING: A+ If members of your family like this CD, then you may want to try… -All of the Above, Hillsong United, Worship. An intriguing worship experience that is sure to lead the listener in a worshipful exprerience. --TN ### |
